Have you ever dreamed of being on a game show and winning the whole damn thing? You know, just losing yourself in the moment, letting your raw excitement flow out in front of millions of TV viewers? Well someone must have figured out how to record dreams, because this is how I've always imagined it:

There's enough footage of this show to dedicate an entire month to it, and I may just do that if I get desperate.
Enjoy!

Roll the Dice
I had lunch (bread, mead) with my brother (charisma 15, dexterity 18) today, and he was telling (shout spell) me how he has a crazy (bezerk spell) dungeons and (frost) dragons day planned with a few (1D6 = 3) of his friends (strength 14, constitution 17) this weekend. Now to his defense (armor class 8), he is not a regular gamer, so he still has pretty good Vegas odds (2D12 + 4) of getting laid, but this news has the statisticians (strength 5, intelligence 23) reworking their models.
So in honor of the heroic conquests ahead of him, here is today's clip:

Cat Gate
No, this isn't about the next presidential scandal. If it was, it would be more aptly named Pussygate. I'm a little reluctant to post a video of a cute animal being, well, cute, but since I have three of these cute animals at home, I figured now is as good a time as any:

Behold The Majesty of St. Sanders
The original clip. Actual Ozzy performance that is, yes, over the top, but also rockin’ (only need to watch enough for comparison purposes)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWAohdmCl4o
Then there’s the St. Sanders version. He overdubs legitimately awesome solos with hilarious fake renditions that, shall we say, lack the caliber of the originals.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JBzWZq4fXg
He’s done a bunch more, so check ‘em out. The Metallica, Clapton, and Santana videos are especially enjoyable.

Jimmy Kimmel's Comeback
So, as most of you probably have already seen, and hopefully via this here blog, Sarah Silverman is fucking Matt Damon; however, after a fairly boring Oscars in my opinion, there was a not so boring comeback by her husband and TV show host Jimmy Kimmel. This just sealed my vote for Jimmy Kimmel to take over late night TV. And the number of cameos they got for this is unreal...

Sorry for the late post today. Google kept trying to tell me I had a virus and that I shouldn't post because I could infect you all with my disease. Well I must be cured now since I'm posting this as we speak.

Slow Jerk
Everyone in the office had to endure an anti-harassment training seminar yesterday, and the office has been just a little too squeaky clean ever since, so I'm going to live vicariously through this completely wrong skit:

History of the Internet 101
This might be a review for some of you, but it'll do you good to see it again.
This is really old, taking me back to my early college years (8 years or so - yikes!)... Flash was just starting to catch on and the beginning of the widespread internet video world was taking foot in places like shockwave.com and icebox.com to name a few.
Watching this is like watching a film from the 1920s. By todays standards it looks amateur, and you can all but see footage of Joe Sparks at his computer overusing and abusing Flash's features with little or no relevance to the plot, but Radiskull and Devil Doll ruled the internet world for a short time (really, they made and sold stuffed devil dolls and everything), only to return to hell where they rule for all eternity. . .
The music is still really great, with a lot of inspiration from early Beastie Boys.
Here is the first in the series of eight:
http://www.atomfilms.com/film/radiskull1_devil_doll.jsp?channelKeyword=channel_radiskull
After the first three episodes it really goes down hill, but if you can stomach the first half of the second one, I urge you to at least watch all three - you'll get extra credit points:

What's Up?!
There's no reason or sense to this video, but nevertheless, it inspires just the same. Imagine if you kidnapped Les Claypool, tied him to a chair, and made him "sing" (because saying Les Claypool sings is really a stretch) a song of your choosing. Yep, I think we would all arrive at this same video. Though you should know, it's not actually Les singing, no, it's someone even cooler.

In honor of this bleak, snowy day I thought it would be appropriate to pick a snow-themed video. There's nothing so fun as watching college frat guys acting stupid. Wait. That's redundant... There's nothing so fun as watching college frat guys. Enjoy!

Dick on Bush
Do I have your attention now? Good! No this isn't an adult film clip, but believe me - if I could I would, but I plan on running for president someday, so I don't want this blog to come back to haunt me. And speaking of presidents, how bout that George W.? Here is Andy Dick, Bush's speech writer,... what you didn't know Andy Dick wasn't just a comedian... on how he writes the dialog of America's voice:

Capturing the Spirit of My Generation
This clip really sums up the magnitude of the social importance of a certain video game on my generation. Its every sound effect is permanently etched on our brains. It doesn't feel like it was made by a corporation with a marketing team, engineering staff, board meetings, and blah blah blah. No, it feels more like the third stone tablet handed down by God himself.

Cute Kids Can Sell Insurance
I know. I know. You're probably thinking, it's only day five and I'm already breaking the rules. Well, it's MY blog and I'm writing the rules as I go. So today you get, not one, not two, but, yes, three videos for the price of one. Take some pills and read on and I swear we'll get through this together.
This first one is a well-known "oldie but goodie", posted on MySpace and Facebook comments everywhere. But the following two are lesser-known follow-ons to this series of commercials.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJKiSCdqlpI

Oh, and tomorrow, I'll be sure to keep the video commercial-free. I promise.

I Feel Great
...and so should the people who made this amazing commercial. I don't know how this got the green light at the drawing board, but thank God it did! This is one of the all-time great commercials in my opinion. You may never look at breakfast bars the same way again.

A Certain Wrist Injury Won't Stop This Man
It's pretty inspiring to see what people can achieve in the face of adversity. This is chiefly noticeable when watching old live footage of Def Leppard, but there are many others that have also overcome adversity to do great things. Deaf composers, short NBA players, plus-size models, Carrot Top... the list goes on.
But this able news team dug a little deeper and found an example of a man with true courage despite the fact that he is afflicted with one of the most debilitating of conditions.

David Blaine
This is one I can watch over and over again, and in fact I do. Great concept. Great execution. It has a prequel and a sequel but in my opinion you should see this one first for that "love at first sight" effect. A+ and three gold stars!

I'm the Internet Video Guy
Hello world!
I'm the Internet Video Guy. I scour the web for video clips worthy of your valuable time. So bookmark this page, check it daily, and instantly improve the quality of your life - it's really that easy!
The first video in this series is a little gem that pays much needed praise to the B-52s - that quirky band out of Atlanta, GA that got people gettin' it on in shacks in the 80s. Bizarre yes, but strangely the acting is far less bizarre than the actual song. I can imagine the look on the sound engineer's face when they were laying down the vocals.
Without further ado:
